Wonderful food and great service. If you are looking for Mexican food elevated this is where you want to eat. Sauces are all outstanding. Beautifully complex Mole with a wonderful balance between the chocolate and chilies, Pistachio Mole is also wonderful and something I had not had before. Everything was wonderful.

Fabulous! One of my favorite authentic restaurants and try to get there whenever I pass through Anacortes! Great food and excellent service and fabulous Frida decor!

A delicious gourmet take on Mexican food. So far everything I've tried there has been excellent, both in flavor and portion size.

Crazy cool interior. The ceilings are so high and the art is just stunning. Service was fast and friendly and the portions were pretty big!

Friendly, family Mexican with great sauces, diverse menu and awesome tamales! Large tequila selection. Cool artwork (from Frida, of course) on the walls and a truly caring staff.

Phenomenal and authentic mole enchiladas and enchiladas suizas! This is not your taco Bell or quick bite common Mexican restaurant slathered in cheese and grease. This is authentic, regional, labor intensive Mexican food. Out of all the places we have been to i never ever thought I'd find this kind of gem here! Will come back without question!!!

Food taste/quality/presentation were above average. Unfortunately so we're the prices, relative to what you get. Ordering from the "gourmet" portion of the menu seems to get you full size portions and even higher prices , but at least the quality increase. My choice from the "traditional" portion of the menu bordered on kid's portion in size.Service was just above average but I was there before it was busy & could see how things could drop off quickly once the crowd increases.With so many choices close by, with more competitive prices, place was OK to try, but would try another place next time in the area.

Service was exceptional and the food was perfect. Large portions, scallops were cooked to perfection and the veggies were flavored well. We will definitely return.

Great atmosphere. The dessert is amazing. My favorite is the carrot cake out of the 3 I had. Deff recommend to anyone in the area. If I could give 6 stars I would.

This is an elegant restaurant that features excellent food, service and one of the best bars in downtown Anacortes.

We went to this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago and the food was absolutely delicious! I also had a margarita and it was ON point! Our waiter, who seems to be the main waiter here, was on the serious side as far as personality.. but he’s prompt and on point with his service. We loved it so much we returned a week later to eat again. This is definitely now one of our top 3 as far as favorite restaurants.

Best mexican food we have had in Anacortes. I especially liked the salmon tortillas. Very nicely decorated restaurant. Service is good (if a little bit gruff).

Beyond the Frida Khalo motif, even, the interior here evokes a bygone era of polished woodwork and a care towards elegance. Had a lunch here of molé enchiladas, solid higher end Mexican, good flavors throughout. Prefaced by the winter vibe of downtown Anacortes.

Ambience ok. However, we went in recommendation of bar tender at Brown Tavern. Ordered stuffed chicken breast eith rice, pico de gallo and small caesar salad. Chi Chicken was tough and not very tasty. Chips, salsa and cocktails were good. Sorry.

Excellent service, but the best part is the food! The MOST amazing Mexican food I've ever had. This is not your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. The food is full of flavor...Very unique! The ambiance is very classy too.Update: We keep coming back and are never disappointed. This is our favorite restaurant by far!

This place is so good! We got tamales and enchiladas and they knocked it out of the park. Quick and the sweetest staff ever. Please go here if you want great takeout in Anacortes.

Service was good. Atmosphere was outdated. Chipped plates. Food came quickly and was as described. Portion size seem a bit small. Overall a pleasant experience.

Had a very very good meal here on Christmas Eve. Authentic and unusual menu items done very well. Artisan tequilas galore. Creative and deliciously created cocktails.

Love this area while visiting Anacortez , Washington. Beautiful place to visit while on the north end with a relaxing atmosphere to get great food. Great viewing of local spots and shopping selection around. Fun for the whole family and friends. Access friendly entrance. Clean facilities throughout including the bathrooms. Beautiful shopping all-around the nearby facilities. Great food, souvenirs and time to be found here. Be prepared for a little adverse weather if necessary on the way in or out Anacortez. Parking was plentiful and easily accessible. Spots were a little tight in some places. We loved the food and variety that was provided to us.Thanks for everything!

The food is amazing! And the service is even better! Very professional and courteous. We even recieved a beautiful rose on mothers day.

I'm not sure that I want everyone to know how wonderfulness food is. It is my favorite restaurant.and we.drive often, from Seattle.just to enjoy the food and atmosphere.

Frida's Gourmet Mexican Cuisine has the enchiladas mole poblano were great! I had them filled with chicken but I think cheese would have been good too. I also used a discount on Yelp from checking-in which was nice! I will definitely be back. The suizo sauce on the traditional menu looked delicious.

You guys, this may be the best Mexican restaurant in Skagit county! The salsa is so good, I asked the server if there's crack in it...I couldn't stop eating it!The chips were fresh and on the thin side-the best way, really!Service prompt and kind. Clean environment. The mole and pork tamales-AMAZING!! My husband is from San Diego so he says he knows good Mexican food and he LOVED Frida's!

Seemed ok till I found a piece of plastic tube in my enchilada. The manager/owner saw it personally and did not even apologize.Not recommended !!!

The server mostly ignored us, and then when he finally came back and took our order, he responded to a question about gluten in a menu item by leaving. He continued to service the other two tables near us, but never came back to answer the question or finish getting our order. Eventually we gave up and left.
